Car Scratches

Well, we woke up today and there is a white, curvy scratch all down the side of our car, like someone has keyed it.

My mum is really upset about it, it goes down the whole side of the car, what can I say to cheer her up, will is cost hundred of pounds to fix?

The cost will depend on how picky you are. If you want it to look like new you will need to go to a body shop and spend some money. If you can settle for it looking ok as long as nobody looks closely some touchup paint will be fine.

After I put a Texas State Employees Union bumper sticker on my car someone scraped it off and keyed my car. Ever since I haven’t had bumper sticker since I can’t watch my vehicle everywhere I go and some jerk somewhere might be offended by whatever I put on.

normally when you buy a car (2nd hand or new) you get a little bottle of paint the same colour. this is for small scratches etc. try that. or if you don’t have it ask your local mechanic/panelbeater what to do. if its a scratch it shouldn’t cost too much. just don’t get conned into re-painting the whole car because that costs heaps lol.

You may be able to buff it out, which will cost next to nothing.
