If you are skipping meals you are litterally starving your body. People say that breakfeast is the most important meal of the day. Part of the reasoning behind it besides the obvious giving you energy for the day is that breakfeast starts up your body’s matabolism. Because when you are sleeping it slows down.

Also when your body goes into starvation mode. Your body will actually be using less energy but it will eat into the body’s fat to get the nutriets you need to survive.

Also what is lost fast is also gained back equally as fast. That is why once a person strays away from the fad diets like Atkins they quickly gain the weight back.

My advice to you is to find some kind of cardiovascular activity and do that for at least 30 minutes a day. Such as running, biking, swimming. If you are not used to physical activity then I’d do it about 3 times a week like mon, wed, fri, just so you get a break in there. But as you get more active I’d up it to 3-5. If you pick running, then the best time to do it is to run in the morning or evening when the weather is cooler.

After about a week or two you should be seeing some results. As long as you are eating right, not too much fast food, try not to snack too much, and by all means try not to eat things right before you go to bed because the energy that you get from that food will not be used and will just turn into body fat when you are sleeping. Hope that helps

by skipping meals your body goes into starvation mode and stores fat to keep your body alive so you will end up gaining any weight you do lose back immediatly after eating again.the best way to loose weight is to eat many small meals through out the day to keep your metabolism going witch will speed weight loss also walking for 20 minutes would count as cardio and that would help even more.dont skip eating it dosnt work..AT ALL.

I agree with curious. If you really want to lose weight and keep it off, you can’t be lazy about it. You won’t notice immediate results. Losing weight and staying in shape takes time.

If you starve yourself, all you will do is slow down your metabolism even more because your body will think it is starving. That means when you do eat, you will gain even more weight because your body is afraid to burn off any calories since it doesn’t know why you’re not feeding it.

To keep your metabolism going, you have to eat more often, not less often. You should eat about six smaller, healthy meals a day.

Skipping meals is actually worse. Your body will pack on more fat as a preparation for starvation. You should actually eat 6 small healthy meals a day (every 2 hours) instead of 3 large meals.

To see results you have to eat healthy and exercise. It takes a lot of work and discipline. Being in great shape shows that you are in control of your body, which is why it’s so hard for many people.

Anorexia and bulimia are bad for you and are not going to keep the weight off and could be fatal.

You want a nice toned body and a s e x y core. I suggest the Abs Diet for Women. You can buy it at Wal-Mart for around 18 dollars. It’s a bright neon green book, can’t miss it.

I also suggest subscribing to Women’s Health Magazine. It’s chock full of useful and healthy info. You can also find it at Wal-Mart in the magazine section.
