Can cory cats live without bubbles and air filters?

I was thinking of bringing a new fish fow my bettas and I heard they get along great but I do not have any filters or air bubbles. can cory cats live with bettas?

Answer #1

I think they can as they are peaceful and will not irritate the betas but sometimes betas can be agressive and go after other fish. Google it and see or best of all ask at the store when you go to get some new fish. They should know. And yes corydoras can live without bubbles and air filters. They obviously rely on an oxygen supply like all other fish and a good clean filtration system is required but no extra is needed. They are great catfish to watch and do best in groups. Have atleast 3 of them

Answer #2

no probaly not because betta fish are known to attack and kill any other fish.. I’m sure some will get along good but I, for one wouldn’t try it.
