It just appears that they might…they can be “lucky” so often…but like all of us, they only have one life.

yeah it’s true my cats shud have died yeArs ago bbut they are still alive , so I think it’s true

They don’t it’s just a myth.

-Some people started saying it because cats can survive falling from very high places with few if any injuries. Thus the saying - they have 9 lives because they seem to be almost invinciable.

-The reason for “9” is that Ancient Mathematical Philosophers called “nine” the finishing post - or completion.
