The number of calories recommended to lose weight have more to do with the amount of activity a person does, in order to BURN those calories. A very active person needs more than a person who sits all day. Losing 30 lbs in 30 days, tho…is an awful lot of weight, and not safe.

You can’t lose 30lbs in 30 days. You can lose 1-2lbs a week, that’s a HEALTHY goal.
