I hear "if you burn more calories then you eat, you lose weight" all the time. But im pretty sure it isnt healthy to workout for more than an hour just so i could burn off 1000 calories.
So, if i eat 1,000 calories a day how many calories should i burn to loose weight? (i want to loose 1 to 2 pounds a week)
You should be eating more than that.. you burn off around 1000-1500 a day just by living and laying around. so, i'm not really sure how to answer this question. I mean if your only eating 1000 calories a day.. your going to burn all of it off + some. Therefore you'll lose weight.. just not in the healthiest way.
Calories are not essential. Food burnt by heat acts differently than when it is digested by your body. One Calorie of 'raw veggies' reacts different in your body than one calorie of starch. read 4 hour body.
