it all depends...I cant really have any white wines anymore, too acidic for my acid reflux but I do rather have an occasional White Zinfandel...(its a blush wine, a bit on the pink side..a bit lighter on the acidity with a hint of sweetness) As for a red wine...my choice is always the same...Shiraz all the way... it's not as sharp & acidic as most dry red wines...in particular Marlo & such! You an immediately feel the difference with the first sip...also doesnt leave that bad after taste as well!
hope this helped!
I love NZ sauvignon blanc from the marlborough region - brands like astrolabe, mudhouse and oyster bay are really good. I also love NZ pinot noir from central otago. Mudhouse does a really nice one, as does delta vineyard, Mt Difficulty, Wooing tree. Waipara hills in marlborough makes nice pinot noir too. Oooh and Italian chiantis are good, dont know which particular brands I like though...
ahh, I have never noticed that...I simply found the shiraz a bit more on the fruity side...a lot lighter in texture and less acidic for my stomach which is why I like it more then most red wines...to be frank I have never tried the pinot noir....ill have to try it & get back to you on that one...:)
Ive never really liked syrah (shiraz) for some reason. I think it has too much tannin for me. Thats why I prefer pinot noir
oooh I like those too! And they have a fun name most new zealanders mispronounce horribly!
I like my Gewürztraminer....it has the right balance to go with any meal.
Blossom Hill, its a Rose, yum. Thats everyones favourite where I'm from.
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Bianco D’Alcamo.
Or Hock, its a white wine. Tastes amazing!
Pretty much anything from the Valley
