How to tell him I'm not in love with him anymore?
How is an easy way I can break the truth to my boyfriend..we’ve been going together for a year and 3 months..but, lately I’ve been feeling like im just not in love with him anymore…but, I dont think he feels the same way I do.. so could anyone help me, please. >.<
I think katy is right - you have to deal with it head on.
There are two approaches, though… and I honestly think it depends on the kinds people you both are.
One is to totally broadside him, and out of nowwhere, tell him it’s over. Clean, quick, extremely painful and intense, but it’s done.
The other way is to gradually let him know that it’s not the same… long, drawn out, calling him less, taking longer to return his calls, then eventually hinting that you might need to take a “break” for example.
Either way, it’s unpleasant. All at once, or little by little. It’s not nice, and we’ve all had to do it. Some people are so cowardly that they CAN’T do it, and become horrible until the other person says, I’m leaving you! I wouldn’t recommend that.
Once you have said the words “I love you” it’s hard to tell someone you have fallen out of love. Unfortunately there is no easy way to break the truth, you just have to be honest and hope for the best. Just don’t keep leading him on, otherwise it will get worse when the time comes to have the talk. You are still young, you will still have other boyfriends and he will still have other girlfriends. If he loves you enough he will still want to be friends with you, maybe not right after but he will come around!
