Are birthmarks hereditary?
I know everyone got a birthmark. Btu my boyfriend has a really big birthmark on his leg. I was wondering if he have kids, would my kid have one on his leg? Same as on someones face? If someone had a birthmark on their face. Would their kid have on there too ?
It’s very unlikely, unless the birthmark came as a result of a hereditary condition, which is rare.
Sporadic birthmarks generally represent a mutation which occurred as an individual grew from an embryo. This means it’s not hereditary.
