Is it normal to have your period for 5 weeks when your on the depo birth control shot?
my niece also did that.. she called her doc and the dr said that its very normal.. when you first have the shot you can have a period (mainly spotting) for up to 6 weeks.. if it lasts longer than that, definately call.
My neice does that, but they said that it could be a dangerous sign. I don’t know though. I don’t know all the details. I’d tell a doctor just to make sure.
Very normal…but you should let your doctor know…it is one of the side effects.
