Is this normal while on birth control?

My cycle been lasting 7 days but I am birth control and it suppose to cut down the days but its not should I tell my doctor? Also, I been having clots is that something I should tell my doctor also?

birth control doesn’t effect everyones horemones the same…

its not a guarenteed way to cut down your periods.

and if youre having clots, that could just be its effect on you.
