I’ve been looking up bipolar disorder but it says changes like over a week and such not in a matter of minutes :/ im a bit worried now please any help would be much appreciated!

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder last year, I’m taking a medicine is called seroquille I think, it’s anti-psychotic for schizophrenia and bipolar. It’s good cause it’s side effects are not severe, but there are also many other drugs, just be careful of Prozac, that drug causes teens with bipolar to kill themselves. As for the anorexia, it’s a side effect from the depression or mania you are experiencing. You may also not be able to sleep, or sleep too much. Try talking to a parent about getting evaluated cause you really need to be careful with mental illnesses. And make sure if you ever feel like killing yourself that you tell someone, if you’re not comfortable with a friend or parent call a hotline, it sounded awkward for me but I did it and it sure as hell saved my life.

1-800-DONTCUT is one for cutting yourself, but I’m pretty sure they do suicidal thoughts as well.

1-800-SUICIDE is also one, you can look more up online, those are the two I use.

If you ever need someone to talk to I’m here, I hope you feel better, emotional roller coasters are not fun.

well I keep getting the same question going through my head all the time, is it all worth it? I know that brings me down a lot and is linked with the suicide but meh I dunno :/

Answer #3

woahh, just let your anger out in a less violent way. try hitting a pillow, or something. dont ever kill yourself, everytime you think about it just think of where you will go. I rather you cut than kill, but dont do that eitehr. lol. or you can talk to someone that means a lot to you or a counsler? take medicine, my mom does.

I am dignosed with bipolar depression. I feel exactly what you feel! It is hard to feel good when you are feeling your worst. I hate to but you should see a doctor person who deels with these things and you probably will have to take pills! sucks dude!

Honestly I have what you have, but I wouldn’t call it a bipolar disorder.. I’d call it mood swings,or “a phase.” And at one point in my life I wasn’t eating very much, but not because I was anorexic.. I just really wasn’t hungry. Everyone has depression at some point or another, and everyone has different ways of handling it. For me,I try and do things I like that I know will make me happy,or try new experiences to keep my mind off of any depression,or problems I have. I think your family telling you that you’re anorexic or bipolar isn’t helping. You should talk to them, and tell them how you feel.

Answer #6

what kind of pills? :/

Answer #7

it could be that you are not bipolar but have to do with your anorxia. you see, not getting enough protein causes our moods to become irrational and random as well as making it hard to focus. the chances are you switch from depressed/suicidal to happy/hyper like that because of your eating disorder. if neccessary ask your doctor for protein suppliments or have protein drinks and see if that helps.

hope I was helpful :)

I have Cyclothymic Disorder. It’s a mild form of Bipolar. Go to your Doc and ask about it. I went cause I thought I was depressed, did a mood & food diary for a few months, got some councelling. Turns out I’m Cyclothymic. The difference with cyclo is that it’s shorter episodes than bipolar. It’s not so bad, you get used to it. If it’s really bad you can get mood stabilizers. Do some research and see your doc. Hope this helped x

Okay.. you’r question really got to me.. and I only answer the ones that do.. I have EXACTLLY what you have.. And usually.. it doesn’t just “happen” Something triggers it.. Think about an expirience that has made you VERY sad.. sad enough to question whether or not you want you continue living.. I’m 15, and I have gone through a lot.. Trust me.. I know a lot more about the world then I should. =\ And when you get emotional like that… It isn’t just because. It’s got to have a reason. I cry daily.. About the dumbest things ever.. and It’s because of a very horrible thing that happend to me.. Sometimes people go through things that don’t seem fair.. But you can over come them like I did.. If you ever want to talk, I’m here. :] I have msn.. sundae_rox@hotmail.com I usually like to chat with people that have problems.. I’d be happy to talk to you. Whenever you need it.. maybe we can get to the base of you’r problem.. until then or whenever.. please be strong and DO NOT! Kill you’rself.. you weren’t put here for nothing. Remember that.. a lot of people love you, Includeing you’r family.. they might say that you have anorexia.. but they are just worried. Don’t let it bother you. Please ask me anything eles you want K?? XxSundaeIsRawrxX

schizophrenia? some of the emotional symptoms of that sound a lot like what you’ve discribed: rapidly changing mood (for no apparent reason), suicidal thoughts, depression. . . here. . . http://www.schizophrenia.com/earlysigns.htm
