I know how you feel. I have had my seizure disorder for a while. People come and go and the ones that do stay are you true friends. I am so willing to talk with you! My name is Theresa and I am a Career Selection Facilitator for at risk youth in Wyoming. My email is t1my3@bresnan.net. Give me a highlighted title since I am bad at deleting my emails. You are doing great! Don’t give up! My preyers to you, Theresa

maybe they dont feel they just care. what if you have a seizure and tey cant do anything about it. If thts not it then maybe you should talk to them. Talking is the best way to figures out things. And ignore those mormons..screw them some people are just shi*.

Answer #3

I like what all have said here. If you want to keep these friends, then the best thing you can do is help them understand about your condition, and that you have meds which keep it under control. Let them know if ever they have any questions to not be afraid to ask. If these ‘friends’ are true friends, then they will stick with you, if not then you have nothing to lose, right? Right! God bless you.

I definitely feel you (fellow epileptic for 11+ years e.e). I hate the disease and I hate how people look at it. if it was any other condition people would be sensitive but to this they just think you’re a freak. I have a huge family and they all talk about me to their kids, my mom, friends, friends parents…some of my cousins aren’t even allowed to be around me because my aunts think I’ll collapse and start shaking or some sh!t (and I have complex partials mostly anyway…)…pisses me the f off. I don’t have very many friends anymore but the few are supportive, even if they are confused about it a lot of the time and ask some odd questions…but at least they’re still there. cherish the good friends.
