Is it too soon to call for a follow up to a job application?

I put in an application on friday is it too soon too call to see if they looked over it.? because the manager seemed really into me?

I have always heard that the more you call then the employer may assume you REALLY want the job and maby give you a shot. So I say wait until tommorow and call the worst thing they will tell you is no. good luck :) you’ve got one cute kiddo by the way!!!

It is just monday…most potential employers dont look at stuff on fridays. As a supervisor, I only do end of the week stuff on fridays and looking over resumes and applications are not included. You seem to be pretty interested in the job and that is what I look for in potential employees, so from a supervisor perspective, wait until tuesday or wednesday to call. Mondays are too hectic and Fridays we dont care who put in an application we will tell ya to try back next week anyways. Tuesdays are good. And make sure to sell yourself over the phone of your qualifications and interests in the job…we like that too.
