Am I in labour??? Please help???

Since yesterday morning I have been getting irregular short pain in my vagina (like once every few hours) and a lot of braxton hicks contractions. The baby feels like it has dropped into my vagina and it feels funny when I walk! I am 35 weeks pregnant is it normal to experience all these odd pains and discomforts because I am so close to full term?

You will know when you are in labour because yor water will break

~You will know when you are in labour because yor water will break~

Not entirely true - many women need to have their water broken by the doctor after labour has already started.

Answer #3

That’s pretty normal, yes.

If the pains are regular (so many minutes apart each time) and seem to be getting more intense, then you’ll know it’s labour.

you can have your baby anytime now and the best thing to do is phone your midwife if you are worried about anything as you are not 1 but 2 lifes so you need to take it easy call your midwife if you notice the pains coming every 5 minuites or so you are most likely in labour try some camomile tea it could just be that your baby is eager to get out before your 40 weeks. good luck !!!

Oh that is really normal you will get a lot of stuff your not use to lol. You could be in pain for days mayb even weeks and the doctor tells you that you are fine. That is just all part of pregnancy you expecting but never no what to expect if you know what I mean. Some people just have a trouble some pregnancy and some have an awesome trouble free pregnancy. But you will experience some undistribable things that will happen to your vagina… It is also normal for you to have false labors to one minute feels like the baby coming next minute your fine… GOOD LUCK WITH THE CHILD :)

Braxton-Hicks can drive you crazy that last mth or so–u never can decide, “are they real? Or are they not?” Lol you haven’t notice your mucus plug being expelled or any fluid leaking from your vagina have u?
Use that womans intuition too! If something “just doesn’t seem right” go on in and have them check things out. From what your saying, sounds all perfectly normal. So, try to sleep now (if you can) while you still can!

Congratulations!
