How can I advertise on my site to increase traffic?

I am working on a childrens’ activity website and wanted to know best possible means to spent money on advertisement.

Google Adwords has the lowest theoretical minimum bid of any of the large ad programs. Adbrite offers clicks for 5 cents each, and Yahoo Search Marketing is 10 cents minimum. Those are some of the bigger programs.

Also consider doing flyers, talking to people you know who have kids, local day care centers & schools, etc.

Even though this site changes the url click on them and see how easy it is. Dont pay for visitors. I made the mistake of that. they dont send real people to your site. It takes little effort, but it does take posts like this to get the word out. You will have a million visitors in a month or two if you work at it.
