How accurate do you think a pregnant womans "gut feelings" are about the baby she is carrying?

Do you feel there is any truth behind it, or is it just guessing. For the past couple of weeks ive kept telling Chris, i think im going to go into labor early. I have no idea where this is coming from…just something inside of me believes it.

From my experiance the way I presumed my children would act like and how good of children they would be was very accurate to the way I felt they would be while I was carrying them

I think pregnant women are the most accurate when it comes to feelings about their babies. If you think you are going to go into labor early then you probably are.

As far as goin into labor I didn’t know until I was very close to my due date then I predicted which day they would be born

They have to be, us fathers don’t have a clue, these are scary days for Mister Dad.

well when my mother was carrying me all through her pregnancy she said something was “different” compared to when she was carrying my sister,she said she thinks somethings going to be wrong with me. and she was right because i was born a month early with the umbilical cord wrapped round my neck.my moms always said a Mothers instinct is always right.

I think the instinct of a mother is usually right, your carrying the child inside you it’s a part of you. If anyone is going to be the most aware of whats going on inside of you it’s you.
