I should know I got picked on also as a emo because I was hanging wit emos &*& the “freaks” but I dressed like it but now I changed the guys who made fun of me now how a crush on me I mean its a fasze 4 some peopole others its life now …,. but really its like now its not emos its the BI-

Theres not much you can do. People are just immature.They always will be until they become more mature and adults.The only reason people do that is because they have nopthing better to do and bashing on other people is a entertaining thing for them to do.It also makes people think that it makes them look cool to there friends.Just zone them out.People will be immature.Who gives a f*ck what they think.If you let it get to your head people will realize its bugging you and they will continue to do it.But if you zone them out and make them realize it dosnt affect you they will eventually find no interest in you. People are really immature and let them act like a bunch of idiots. All that should matter is that you are there for your girl and you stick up for her. She will see that and she will love you for it. Just concentrate on being happy with her and all should be well. People are just stupid and there’s nothing that can really be done about it. Who knows, they might be jealous that you’re dating her!

Every stereotype gets made fun of at some point, it’s not just the ‘emo’ kids. I find it quite amusing that the ‘emo’ kids whine about getting picked on yet I always overhear them dissing other stereotypes just as much, it’s so hypocritical.

I agree with stephanie… Its probably just because it makes people uncomfortable when people constantly talk about how much their life sucks, how depressed they are, and are constantly talking about morbid things. People don’t know how to react to that, and that’s generally how people expect “emo’s” to be. I don’t know. People shouldn’t make fun of other people, but its going to keep happening, no matter what.

well im emo but usually people pick on them because there different and they think their werid ik I get that a lot but my boyfriend is sorta emo and im glad that your being protective of her!!! the people that are picking on her are being idiots and if you look like its bothering you they’ll keep doing so try to act like you dont care and they’ll stop it because they will get bored
