Why won't my itunes give me the option to sync(I have a new ipod that I'm trying to sync my music to)?

By the way, I downloaded the latest version of itunes. Please help me, I bought this new ipod and now its not even letting me do anything with it :( It’s an ipod touch, just like my old one.

I plug in the new one and itunes comes up but there is no option to sync, and when I click on the “ipod touch” so that I can try to sync it, it says “We could not complete your itunes store request. A secure network connection could not be established. Check that your computers date and time are correct and try again.” I did check the time and date and fixed it but it still doesn’t work. Any ideas? :(

Try restarting your computer, search around on the iTunes, restart your iPod, call or go to where you bought your iPod and ask them for help. Hope this helped!

Thanks for the ideas, I’ve done all of those except call the company. It’s been hours and it still hasn’t worked for me. Ugh. Thanks for the ideas though, I think I’ll have to try and call the technical support or something.
