How can some women [and men] be so "GLAMOROUS" all the time?

For some people it’s just “them”. for others, they seek aproval of others, I know lots of girls like this, they want the approval of men around them. For others, it helps them feel more confident about themselves. There are many more reasons how and why. Just start doing little by little, wake up a bit earlier one day, or plan out your outfit the night before rather than throwing on whatever in the monring.

Its also helps to be extremely confident like myself.

My motivation is in the fact that there are more benefits for someone who takes care of themselves. Not necessarily glamorous…but if I show up to work everyday with my hair done, my nails clean and my uniform neat, I get a better rating in my ‘hygiene evaluation’ (a lot of jobs rate personal hygien). People who take care of themselves tend to make a better impression at school and at work. They have an easier time making friends (it’s hard to talk to someone who smells!). So for me, when I dress nicer and look nicer in general, there are a lot of benefits. I like wearing sweats to school as much as the next girl, but I don’t do it everyday. It’s a personal thing-I have more confidence when I’m done-up as opposed to when I’m not. Then again I shouldn’t talk right now, I’m in pajamas :/

If you dress like a complete slob, or look like you haven’t showered in weeks. Every institution cares about their company image, of course some places are more relaxed than others.

Actually, yes. We could be fired based on a bad evalutation, and there’s a whole section of our evaluation on good hygeine. You sit with a manager and they checkmark whether or not you have clean hair, uniform, even whether or not you seem to shower daily and use deodorant. There are sanitary reasons an, as Janicee said, appearances to keep up.

i know girls who go to bed with next days make up on and straighten hair for next day =/ lol

madness, but they do it for confidence and approval of others
