How do I get the WiFi to work on an iPod Touch?

It says unable to join network after putting in the password

just go to setting and hit the wi-fi Nd if anything shows up just clock o it and you’ll get wi fi

What kind of security does your network have?

If it’s WEP, you may have MAC address filtering in place, so you should adjust the filter on your wireless router to allow your iPod to connect.

If it’s WPA or WPA2, you’re seriously out of luck. iPods and iPhones tend to work with TKIP encryption on WPA and AES on WPA2. Anything else stumps them for good. On top of that, you can still have MAC address filtering in place. So once again, you need to play with your router…

Sorry for the heavy jargon, but there really is no easy way to get it to work if it doesn’t work out of the box.
