Why wont my "the sims 3" game not finish loading?

Ok so I was reinstalling my game and it all went fine. I got the patches and all that and then I started loading the game. it got to the loading screen and loaded all the way to the end but then it would just freeze and stay on that page. the music was still playing so I just left it. after a few hour a checked back on it and it hadnt moved. whats wrong with it. I exceed the reguirements for the game to work also. Please help!

uninstall

restart system

install

restart system again

and run without patching

does it now work?

if it does install 1 patch at a time and restart after each patch and run the game after each restart

having a lot of programmes/files on your system wouldnt freeze the game… its a bigger picture than that im afraid :)

I had the same problem its becuse you must have to many things downloded on your computer try deleting thing of that you dont know and then reinstall it ok. your welcome

I had the same problems a while ago and I found out that it was one o the patches that made this happen but it was later fixed. Maybe it has soetmhign to do with the patches?

thanx everyone! I had to get the game mods and patches off. I guess one or more were messing up the game.
