Why is my Windows Installer working?
On my laptop nothing will install, so I did a scan and it said I have loads of problems. the major one I need to fix is Windows installer wont install (ironic) and I cant download anything. I NEED it to work if im going to download another anti-virus software Does anyone know what’s wrong? HELP!

at just past the boot screen you know where it says your memory and cpu type etc start pressing F8… when the screen comes up select safe mode with no networking…
or
click start (win v and win 7 just have the windows logo) - hit run - type ‘msconfig’ without the quotes - boot - safe boot (keep it on minimal) - reboot

ok no probs but make sure you save any images/files you wanna keep cus if their anything like dell they will reinstall windows
how you getting on with this?
you might miss the precise time you have to press F8 a few times but keep at it and you’ll have it ;)
I’ve decided to take it back to the shop and let professionals look at it. Thanks anyway :)
