Why is my big brother acting strange towards me?

O.k, my brother and I are 3 years apart (he’s 16, I’m 13) and we have always been close but lately I’ve been worried about him.
He hasn’t been talking to me much and when I try to hug him he kinda shrugs me off. Once when I walked into my room, he was in there looking through my underwear drawers but he suddenly ran when he saw me. Later on I found a pair of my panties under his pillow.

Another thing was yesterday, in the night I woke up and he was in standing in my doorframe but then he walked away.
Is he ok? I’m worried for him. Is he troubled by something? What can I do to help?

All boys go through that phase in life he is hitting puberty still though he shouldn’t be going through you underwear that is not good. You should either tell him not to or talk to your parents about that.

You should talk to him in gerneal though and tell him your concerns

Maybe he has a girlfriend that he wanted to buy undies for as a gift, but was too embarassed to go out and buy some so he stole yours? I can only hope that’s why he took them.

Did you take them back or leave them there? Maybe he’ll stop acting weird if he knows you know ?

You should talk to him and tell him that you don’t like it when he goes through your clothes drawers. You could ask him to help you with homework or something, then ask whats wrong when you are both sitting at the table alone and he can’t really shrug off the question. If you are really worried about him then you should talk to your parents about him.

I would ask him whats wrong with him. He’s acting in a way as if he has feelings for you which is not right. I would try and sort it out with him.

okay the thing is he is growing up…this is just a phase and he WILL grow out of it really and you guys will be bffs again
