Why is it worse for mothers than fathers to leave the picture?
Why is frowned upon more for a mother to feel unfit and leave her child better off, than it is for a father to up and disappear?
Well the mother is the one that goes trough the pain to bring that child to this world… but there still mothers who do it and don’t have a little care about anathing..
A father can have more kids, at any age, just need to get with a young one… a mom has her limit…
Emm… I think it might be because the father hasn’t had to be pregnant for nine months with the baby so maybe hes not as attached. In the wild, isn’t it mainly the female that looks after the young? That might be part of it. Hope this helps =)
It is a sexist belief. It is just as bad for either parent to abondon their child. We feel worse towards woman who do it because traditionally the mother is the more emotional parent. Where as traditionally the man would be required to work and bring home a paycheck and the woman would take care of the everyday needs of the child. Even now that woman work you still see the woman doing the majority of the child care.
