well when I as 16 I went out with an 18 year old and we had sex. We had gone out with each other for a long time and we were in love, He never took advantage of me and I’m glad he was the one I los my virginity to, How could that be wrong? I mean I understand that a 55 year old having sex with an 8 year old is wrong but why can’t I legally have sexwith my boyfriend who’s only 2 years older than me? That doesn’t make sence!

I dont know about all states but in Georgia as long as your parents are okay with you dating someone older than 18 then its alright. Maybe you could look into it as a loop-hole :)

First of all there’s a huge difference between having a 21 year old girlfriend and being 29, and being 20 and having an 12 year old girlfriend. So that argument is a bit ludicrous. You’re talking about two adults. Who can do whatever they please. Under 18, a few years makes a HUGE difference.

As for a minor having sex, well the laws are really there to protect those who are vulnerable and are not in a position to consent. Yes, sometimes it is ridiculous, like in your situation, but it is what it is. Everyone has to follow the same blanket rules.
