Why does my cat like to suck on my fingers?
My cat is a big lover .. he likes when I hold him like a baby and purrs like crazy .. then he starts pulling my hand to his face and sucks on my fingers .. why does he do this?
Maybe it helps calm him or maybe it is instictual - suckling. Its not doing him any harm though! :)
he just loves you and maybe he likes the salt that comes off of your skin. or if he’s young he could just be teething.
My cat does that when he is hungry.
It’s how he shows affection … he gets the same calming feel from doing it as when he was a kitten on the teat.
