why: does my boyfriend treat me like a lil'girl?

okay so I’m dating this guy I really love him but he treats me like a lil’girl I hate it I’m 13 hes 17 I know I’m 4 years younger than him but it doesn’t seem like it I’m really irritated with him because hes more immature than me I don’t get it why does he treat me this way oh and how do I tell him I hate the way hes treating me ?

just straight up tell him you hate it. or…you could send him sum pics showing just how much youre NOT a little girl;] hope this helps

Uhm… Yeah. Don’t take theprincess’s advice on the picture thing. That’s…really dumb for reasons I’m not even going to explain. If you don’t understand why it’s stupid just by looking at it then you shouldn’t even be dating. Period.

Anyway, tell him that if he’s going to be your boyfriend that he has to treat you with a certain amount of dignity and respect. You aren’t his little sister, you aren’t his niece, you aren’t a sponsor child he is toting around for volunteer points on his transcript. You’re his girlfriend and if he wants to keep you as a GIRLFRIEND then he needs to treat you like one.

Honestly, I think you should find someone closer to your own age. Later on in life four years isn’t a huge difference but in the kingdom of teenagers it’s a pretty huge gap. If he doesn’t take your request seriously then he obviously doesn’t respect you and you can decide from there whether you want to drop him or try to “change” him like all girls think they can do with dudes…which is also stupid. Just saying.
