Why does my belly piercing hurt and keep pussing..?

its only been a month and I understand it take 6 months to heal but I dont think its normal for my piercing to keed pussing and hurting,… I don’t know if im doing something wrong or if the piercer just Eff’ed up but whatever it is I need help as soon as possible because I have a new ring and I want to put it in… and also I have a hoop in so I think it might be irritated and pulled by my shirts… but I don’t know I need some GOoD HELPing I and F O.

Answer #1

yes they are pircers you go to a special class to get your licens for piercing and how can you die from it its a little piece of skin no ware near you stomache or intestines thats just bull she had to pierce like her gut or sum issh because a belly ring can not do that unless your really really wierd and have some bugs eating you ahha

Answer #2

ohh no… I went to a so called “PROFESIONAL PEIRCER” but it seems shes not too profesional because everytime I go there she is never at work so I never get her opinion.. and yes I clean it twice a day but it seems as tho the bottom hole is healded but the top one is really stubborn and doesnt want to heall… haha I just need to know what I am doing wrong and how I can change what I am doing

Answer #3

this might be very serious, I was thinking about getting a belly button piercing, but then I heard your stomach/intestines are right there against your belly button area, and its really easy to snag your intestines/stomach and cut them open when you pierce it, and if you don’t get your insides sewn back up you could die, ,and remember the people who do these things are not doctors and are not professionals, so my advice: see a professional, I dont remember the exact news story but the girl died from a hole in her stomach.

Answer #4

well thankyou but yea my friends have got it done and one of them say its normall and the other say its not… like to one of my friends hers did the same and now its fine I guess time will tell but thanx to evrybody that helped I really appreciate it :)

Answer #5

I’ve never gotten far enough to change it. So I don’t know. My friend said it wasn’t painful changing it, just scary.

Answer #6

wow yeapp I have the starter hoop too… I don’t know … maybe its because of that.. but im scared to change it because it can get even more painfull

Answer #7

Yup, That and I found out after I have an allergy to certain metals. Which starter belly hoops are made out of. And I could tell because it looked like it was infected as hell. It didn’t hurt at all which is the funny thing.

Answer #8

ooh okayy but how did you tell it was rejecting and did you clean it properly… was it just your body not accepting the ring or what..?

Answer #9

I had it done at four differant points. It’s rejected it all four times. Now the scar tissue is too thick there so I’d have to get the bottom pierced which I don’t like.

Answer #10

Well to make sure I would wait 1-2 weeks then go to a piercing place and ask if it looks ok. In the mean time clean it really good.

Answer #11

do you have yours done..? and I mean not cleaning it is not an option I just want to know how to do it right…

Answer #12

right but mine looks as if its in the process of healing its just the puss, seems like its stuck and cant find a hole to come out… my mom was a doctor and said that puss always has to come out to heal a womb because if it stays in the puss will harden and cause pain… I don’t know if thats whats happening in my case or if it is in fact starting to have a infection

Answer #13

It is possible that it won’t heal. Sometimes your skin/body rejects the piercing which makes it so it might not ever heal. I would wait go see a differant piercer to get their opinion on what to do.

Answer #14

kayy but if it rejects would I be able to tell that the skin is getting thinner or wiill it just stop trying to heal..? because my step sisters friends got rejected and you could tell hers wasgetting realll thin…

Answer #15

yea I no my pants are low cut tho and I dont wear any belts b.c I herd that irritates it too… I tried wearing loose shirts but I have none.. so that doesnt work. too well and I will continue to clean it I just need to no how to improve so it can heal fast and and prevent it from happening again

Answer #16

It usually doesn’t even try to heal and will just puss and look like it’s getting infected. Which is usually part of the rejection.

Answer #17

It may still be healing. have you been cleaning it? keep up with cleaning it, and maybe give it another 2 weeks. if it hasn’t stopped or atleast gotten better by then, go back to the piercer and ask their advice.

you didn’t have a friend do it/do it yourself right?

Answer #18

hm. continue cleaning for sure then. also, it may be getting caught on your shirt/pants. just be careful when putting them on, and make sure the top of your pants is not touching the ring, this could really irritate it.
