Why do people hate us emo kids?

I think people just do this to make themselves feel better then you .. so dont listen to them ..

Sometimes those people really just need somebody to stand up to them. Nothing works better than the comeback. Luckily at my schools I was always a popular student and when I saw people paying someone out I would always go and help out :). Especially with somebacks. Nothing is more effective than beating them at their own game, but doing it within reason.

If you find it impossible to ignore their insults, turn the tables. Generally people who act like this are quite foolish and if you’re a smart person, you can deal with them. Humiliating them in front of their friends (whom they are trying to impress) is a really good way of deterring them, but you must be careful of course because if they are really stupid they can get physical.

Ignoring them is the best option or brushing their comments off. If you illustrate to them that they’re not getting through to you, then they lose momentum. Their actions are dependent on momentum. Take that away and there is nothing they can do. A lack of momentum and some good comebacks are a killer combination. So long as you remember that comebacks are jokes and not insults. they pick on us beacuse we are not the same for not to be picked on we would have to be a fucking prep … but yoou are who you are there words cant change that so why care I get picked on … and I get though the day and.. I know you can to

just dont listen to them asholes, because they have nothing better to do then to put you down to look cool in front of other people…I went through it all through elementary school.not emo bullsht but just being bullied and picked on…its not fun but you can get through it =] dont listen to those people, and dont worry about what others think because you have to put yourself before anyone else

Honestly, its because you dress like girls and there are a lot of homophobic people out there. And then of course theres the whole crappy music and constant moaning thing. But the dressing as a girl would be the main one.

Well I wear eyeliner and people at skewl called me emo because I wore a bow -- I really cud care less because I’m not anything but myself. I have my own style,just because you like certain clothes. Who cares what they say? there just being a**holes,they don’t like anything thais different. Just flip em off or something >< hehe

Many people pick on minority groups because there is a lack of understanding of them even by those who are not insulting them. Misunderstood groups find it hard to gain support and hence they become an easy target. These people do it to make them feel better about themselves and to make themselves look like higher beings and make you look up to them (intimidated).

Sometimes it is done out of fear (though not in this case). They simply do it because they think you can do nothing to stop them. They do it for their pride and to feel like they have some kind of authority as well (typical bullies). There are ways to deal with such issues bu turning the tables, but there is too much to explain here. Never forget the power of ‘the comeback’, lol. Remember that people who do this are beneath you; it isn’t the other way around. If they want to make people feel down, etc, they are quite obviously bad people. Never forget that it is you who is the higher being :).

I don’t hate emo kids just to look cool. I just don’t like them. I can’t help it. They look stupid to me, and seeing one any where just pisses me off. It also might be because its very trendy right now where I’m from. You asked man.

kids that make fun of emo kids are just jelouse they have such pathetic lives they have to pick kids that are different and make fun of them…I think wanna be emos are the ones worth makin fun of because there stupid…wanna be emo,gangsta and prep, I hate them all okay and if someone makes fun of you for actually being emo then tell them to go to hell or eat dog s* or just simply ignore them because trust me they are not worth your time :)
