Why didn't she invite me to her party?

My best friend is turning 16 in Feburary, but she’s having her party with her cousin this weekend. They wanted to have it together. They’re going paintballing and mudding and all that stuff. I’m not into that stuff. Her cousin, which is a boy, texted my boyfriend, who are good friends, reminding him that it’s this Friday. I never got invited. She invited one other girl, and the rest were guys. Including my boyfriend. I think she didn’t invite me because she knows I’m not into paintballing and mudding. But she never said anything to be about it. Should I be upset? Because I kindof am. Then I was texting her and I asked her if we could do something this week, and I picked Friday, which was the party day. She told me she has her COUSINS birthday to go to. She said she was going to give me an invitation on Monday. She doesn’t know that I know its her party too.

yes, you have every right to be mad. its your best friend, and even if you arent into that kind of stuff, she should have still invited you to be polite and then it would be up to you to try it out or not. just tell her that it bothers you that you, as her bff, cant hang out with her at her own party.

I would be mad.She should have at least asked you whether you wanted to go. Ask her out straight why you weren’t invited. Maybe it’s a misunderstanding.
