Yesterday evening I fell asleep and dreamt I was with michael jackson. He felt so real! I could feel his body heat too. But I'm not reading too much into that because it was just a dream.
But soon after, I awoke and saw myself surrounded by bright white light, floating in the air. In the corner of my vision I could see my actual room: a bit of the ceiling and the posters on the wall. I started panicking, thinking I was dying and I said I wasn't ready to die, and then suddenly I felt myself smack into my body again with such force! It was horrible!!! And I was definitely awake.
Why do people get obes (out of body experiences)?
Usually people have out of body experiences when they are just discovering that they have some sort of psychic sense. You seem to definitely have one. Forgive me if I sound weird, but it sounds like you are definitely good with clairvoyance, or "clear seeing". But on the other hand, you might have been having an OBE for some unknown reason, and if you didn't say you weren't ready to die, you might have learned some stuff while there, or your psychic abilities were enhanced, like mine kinda were when I had one. There's many different reasons for having an OBE, and you should probably research into that. And in case you're wondering, everyone is psychic in their own way, it's just if your soul in a past life has ever enhanced one of the skills (clairvoyance, clairaudience, or clairsentience) then you'll have no trouble with it in this life. I took a more direct route and enhanced my psychic abilities. And no, I'm not one of those major psychics who earn my living by doing that only. I'm still only a teenager, who's had out of body experiences before and decided to enhance her psychic abilities. Yes, I probably went way off topic there, but anyways, the answer to your question, is that there is no direct reason at all. It happens to a lot of people, whether it seems like it doesn't or not. You might want to look into it more though, because I could be wrong. A psychic can't know everything, now, can she? But anyways, good luck and I hope this helped.
Actually, you weren't really dreaming in the usual way people dream while they are fast asleep. You may have started out asleep for a while...the Michael Jackson part, but after that you went into a state of halucinating, which is different from dreaming. I think sleep walking is a similar state...it can't be explained why it happens. For more on unusual dreams: http://ow.ly/P4Ba
