Why can't we fire politicians?

When we pay the politicians and they do their job not good enough, why can’t we fire them und hire someone better?

Answer #1

because you cant fire anypolotician because your not the only one who pays for their job the whole community does and if a lot of people disagree with the way he does things then he can get impeached or he could stay

Answer #2

because when they’re voted in office by the people, they are voted to work in their position till ther mandate expires. you dont vote a politician for a day or a month but for a whole mandate ( different positions have different mandate lenghts). but you can write a peticion of no-confidence to a politician, which must be probably signed by a 5-30 thousand people and a couple of other politicians to be accepted to be passed as legitimate. every political body has a procedure that can dispose somebody of power, but they’re very complicated, thats why people used to depose somebody through a coup (agressive and most times bloody) and then they take over that position

Answer #3

There is always recall or impeachment.

Answer #4

We can. On election day.
