thats kinda rude. look if you really want to leave I would call someone for legal advise to see what you can do. I know in some places you can declare yourself independent and live on you own. so do some research and make some calls

Answer #2

Yeah; in Texas you can move out. At even 16. The cops cannot do anything about it. Your parents can call them but they might come find you and bring you back. But at 17, you can move out. There is no such thing as a 17 year old runaway. My cousin moved out at 17 and all the cops said was oh well. They didn’t even look for her. So really it depends. At 17 your pretty much legal if you can go to “big boy” jail. So yeah. If you can take care of your family and stuff; then I dont see why you cant. Good luck

Answer #3

Um what state do you live in? I live in Texas and you’re able to move out at 17, technically your parents can still file you as a runaway but the police can’t do anything about it except tell you that you’re filled as a run away. The hardest thing is finding an apartment that’ll rent to 17 year olds. The laws are different for each state, I know in Michigan you have to be 18. Find out your states laws, you can always call your city’s non emergency police line and they will be able to tell you.

Answer #4

because your not an adult yet? your parents still have control over you untill you are 18. So suck it up and deal with the choices you have made, such as having a kid so young lol. If youre parents don’t want you to leave yet they can fight for you to stay. So I say wait a half a year and take advantage of the free place a food that your parents provide. stop being such a drama queen

Answer #5

lol. Can you afford your own place?
