Savannahs06111, what a load of bullocks your comment ‘is a real Christian that they would be looking for another Christian to share their faith together’.

Not trying to rip or be rude to you but I disagree strongly with your comment… … I’m a real Christian, proud of my Heavenly Father, love my Lord with all my heart and try to live my life as christianly as possible, which is difficult most of the time. :)

FYI, I am in relationship with my delicious boyfriend who holds no particular faith…He certainly doesn’t believe in God or satan or anything for that matter and our relationship is going splendidly, nearing 3 years (the first and only boyfriend) …We are both open-minded and never cross the boundary of nagging each other to drop one’s faith or follow the light and become a Believer.

Sorry once again for the harsh tone…Just lately all the negative comments towards Christianity has really raved me up on here and I’m starting to lose patience. :( … So savannah, please forgive me if this comes across as attacking your comment, it’s not my intentions.

Couples with different faiths can work but as Toadly and Jlw82 stated very wisely, both parties in the relationship needs to be open-minded…It certainly doesn’t work for everyone but having different believe systems actually makes the relationship stronger in my eyes.

try to live my life as christianly as possible, which is difficult most of the time.

what exactly does that mean? live my life as christianly as possible?

and btw guys. im not married. so I have never gone through the experience to really say for myself. my comment above is just logical.

a real christians relationships(or people you affiliate with) dont always have to be christian, like friends, aquintances, ect. BUT, if anybody here knows about marriage, is that its a really close intimate relationship where man and woman (or same sex) become almost ONE person. they decide everthing together, live through everything together, support each other on everything.

and to a christian, they try hard to not live a life of selfish desires, of survival of the fittest. but of helping each other out, those who are weaker, and helping each others relationship with the Lord.

ofcourse its possible to marry someone who is agnostic, like maybe what fruitilicious might go through. I know many people who are married as so.

but for 2 people to marry each other whos minds belong to 2 different worlds, is just not wise.

people say it wont clash, but I very much disagree. at some point in their marriage, it will clash and bring problems.

Different beliefs, duh. And I guess it’s hard for a satanist and a christian to tolerate eachother cause of their beliefs.

Answer #5

I’m neither a Christian or a Satanist, but I think it would depend on the two people involved.

Christians tend to be a bit fanatical with their beliefs, but if they were a more open minded Christian, maybe it would work. There are different types of Satanists, and some may not be as grating to a Christian as others. The beliefs of the people’s families can play a big part. An ‘old school’ fire and brimstone Christian parent would have a HUGE problem with their child dating a Satanist and would probably not listen to reason.

If the people involved in the relationship are patient and understanding and their love strong enough, it could work. It’s going to most likely be harder for the Christian to accept the views of the Satanist, but harder for the Satanist to have a good relationship with the Christian’s family and friends. It won’t be easy.

well from a christian stand point

when it comes to love/ dating it would be wise to date someone who would help you with your walk with the Lord, not someone who lives with the worldly ways (or giving into ones selfish desires/ caring about themselves only)

dating somebody like a satanist, who believe that they are their own gods and must live their life to the fullest because its only normal to indulge in their own selfish desires, would be the complete opposite

and therefore would never work.

thats why they named it satanism, because of the symbolic character satan is.

someone who decided to live for himself, and forget about whatever God said. its satans life and he wants to live it like he wants to live it.

I believe that if the person in question is a real Christian that they would be looking for another Christian to share their faith together.

If a satanist and a Christian tried to be together they may get tired of sacrificing their religion to make the other happy.

But anything can happen. :)

Answer #8

I agree with in_omnia_paratus. =
it could work, but youd have to try REALLY hard. the religion for sure would be a HUGE barrier. and both families would disapprove. like romeo and juliet. lol. XD I think that yalls religion would be the thing that yall’d fight over. and it would either make yall, or break yall. most likely break, if neither gives into the other…

Answer #9

theres no reason they can’t. its just their religions would clash. christians wouldn’t even talk to satinists though lol let alone date them. and both the peoples families would frown upon their choice.

I think its just that both of the religions are so oppisite.

Answer #10

You can, as long as you are both very open minded.

Answer #11

I dont see anything wrong with it. In fact, Im with a Satanist now. Jesse and I have been together for almost a year. We argue sometimes but other than that we dont even talk about it.
