Why are parents like that?

My parents dont trust me. I want to know why it is that when you try to have a conversation with your parents they always seem to yell at you like you did something wrong. Or they start on one topic and 4 hours later they are on a completley unrelated topic.. why do parents do that?

my parents dont trust me because I lie to keep things away from them and do silly things. that can be a reason. that you did something wrong or there just protective

Omg that’s the same thing with my parents they always yell at me!!!They start talking about something and end up on a new subject like with me if they are mad at me for being on the computer too much then they end up talking about math,school and sports!!!

Parents can be like that…It could just be anger in them or you could have done somthing for them to not trust you or it just could be them being over protective. Im 20 and I havea 3 yr old and I think im going to kinda be like that only because im still somewhat a teen and I know the things I liked to hide and pull behind my mom. I justdont want my daughter to be like that. Try talking to her …being more open with her even if somthings she can hear may be harsh sometimes when you let them know your biggest secret they feel accomplished and who knows mayb if you tell her whats goingon in your life she will trust you more.
