Why are Christians so ignorant?

I was talking to a Christian the other day, and it became clear to me that her faith in God was because she didint understand anything and her explanation was God did it. So the reason Christians believe in God is false?

Not all Christians are ignorant :) Some even know more than I do about the bible (though most I’ve had deep religious discussion with in person know less than I do).

With that in mind, I’m going to lock this. Debate is OK, bashing isn’t.

Why do they follow the Bible? PEople back then were so gullable to believe that he was actually the son of God, why do they believe that…because there ignorant.

Wow, you should be very careful who you call dumb and what you call false. I am Jewish, but know a lot about Christians and have lots of Christian friends. It is their faith in God that causes them to believe that many things are God’s doings. They follow the bible, and believe that Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross for them, and was later resurrected. It is obvious that you do not know very much about them if you can make a blanket statement like that. It is not your place to decide which religions are “dumb and ignorant” as you would say. You have the freedom to believe that, but you should really watch what you say and how it will affect others.
