Why am I having thick gooey discharge almost everyday?
It has no smell and its white and sometimes clear. It has been going on for months now.
How old are you?
Sometimes when going through puberty discharge can be annoying, it usually differs in color, thickness and can be really gross. Oh, and it can go on for months.
I suggest getting some pantyliners and feminine wipes, that should help you feel more clean down there and less uncomfortable.
Well is all depends the only thing you need to make sure is that you are always keeping it clean and fresh.
Wheni said it depends is your age, Soemtimes the disarge means you are getting your piriod soon. But if you have alredy went trough that then is normal is what happens to everyone.
It may just be your normal discharge. It is the way the vagina cleans itself naturally and, as long as you just clean the outside with water (no fragrance soaps, as these will irritate the area), then you should be clean and fine. The fact there is no smell suggests it is not caused by an infection: if you had one the discharge would be more lumpy than gooey.
I think you are just worried about what is normal. Book to see a nurse or gynacologist to just get checked down there if you wish and set your mind at rest, but you sound normal to me.
