Who works at Mcdonalds?

Tomorrow is my first actual day at Mcdonalds. I’ve already gone through training on the front end and lobby, but I’m so so nervous, because it’s going to be my first time without supervision. I have no idea about most of the abbreviations on the register and I’ve forgotten a lot.

Please, any tips or anything that’ll help me?! I’m freaking out.

Hey, don’t stress, everyone has to start off somewhere… It’s hard to memorise all the abbreviations on the POS terminals at the moment, but once you have done a few continuous shifts they should all click in place…Remember, if you are unsure about anything, ask questions. It’s better to ask then keep quiet and then end up making mistakes. :)

P.S… Sorry, never worked at Maccies, but I did work for Kmart on Thursday nights and Saturdays (9am-5pm) when I was 16, so I understand your nervousness… …by the way, customers are not always right…The company drums that theory into you that CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT, but you will learn in time they are NOT. ;)
