Who thinks this a normal thing to feel ?

After getting my heart broken more than a month ago and having an awful break up with constant arguing. I still can’t talk to him without lashing out. I’ve got a new guy now but I’m really scared of falling in love with him as much as I did with my ex incase I get my heart broken all over again. But I want to, I want to feel love again. How do I get over this? Is this normal? >.<

It is normal. You’re afraid of the same thing happening again. Getting over it won’t be easy. Give yourself as much time as you need. Don’t force yourself to get over it because it won’t work and you’ll put yourself under pressure. Have fun, talk with friends, eat chocolate and go to the cinema…spoil yourself (but not too much). A little bit of Yoga or meditation couldn’t hurt. It would erase the ill-feeling and anger. It’s extremely beneficial if you meditate before you sleep because it clears your mind and helps you relax. Don’t brood over it. Spend as much time as you can with yourself and the people you love. Remember to let it out. If you feel angry about what he did to you, don’t keep it bottled up. Tell someone, write it down on a piece of paper and rip it up, punch something soft. Dress up just to make yourself look and feel nice and give yourself confidence.
