Why does she feel bad when I do nice things?
How come my girlfriend feels bad when I buy her gifts and presents? she tells me that she dosent want me to waste my money on her because it makes her feel bad but it makes me happy to do so and to give her gifts and when she gets them she is happy and says thank you, she says she’d rather me spend it on myself. why?
honestly, abominableangel said it all. She feels guilty. Maybe just give her a few things, but not lots of stuff all the time. Ask her what would honestly make her happy
simple GUILT she feels guilty she love the pressies but she doesnt want to come across selfish, she’d be gutted if you stopped and would then think you dont care .. if buying her gifts makes you happy and its obvious to you that she enjoys recieveing them then carry on
shes just worried that you will think ..jeeez shes not happy unless I buy her stuff she just wants you to see her in a good light think of it as a compliment but as I said before if she likes getting pressies then keep going.
