I am very curious to where my hymen is... I know that it is in the vagina area... but is it right inside the hole or right over it? I hear that it I over the opening but I don't know...? maby I dont have one. Also, how can you tell if you have popped yours?
NO NO NO, the hymen is a thin layer of skin, JUST AROUND THE OUTSIDE of the vagina I.e. at the opening.

You can also be born without a hymen or have it torn during sports, when inserting a tampon, fingering etc. However it's not such an easy thing to break.
Mine was popped the first time I had sex and I found it to be very painful. Some girls never experience any pain and others very little.
It is located deep inside of the vaginal canal... you cannot see it. It is true that some girls don't have one. And you really don't know if its popped unless its been popped. You can pop it during sports, inserting a tampon, having sex, etc. Usually bleeding follows the popping of a hymen.
