Can I have herpes without an open sore?

I’ve went to the gyno back in the beginning of march end of feburary.. and my IGM came back positive but my IGG came back neg… if I came into contact with herpes it was new years.. so like almost 4 months ago… I am going back to get blood work in mid april… I’ve had NO symptoms till now. im not sure if its an ingrown hair or a pimple but I have 3 bump (not close to eachother) and there not open wounds or anything but one of them hurt… the locations of them are one on my lip.. ( outside) and 2 near my hole.. I read tho that if you come in contact symptoms show up it shows up from 2 - 25 days… and its been almost 4 months.. so im kinda confused… I’ve also had a yeast infection or bacteria infection thats reoccurant since jan 09… so idkk wtf to do or think

well I have herpes,had it for about 5 years now. yes it does take about a few days to catch it but 1st breakout can take as much as a year to get it. and with herpes it looks like a cold sore that at 1st can be red or pink,irritated or sore,after a few days to a week it may pop or break open. if you have any medication for it take it everyday even when your not having an outbreak cause the meds will help prevent them. but you may still have atleast 1 outbreak per year. I still do around winter time. the medication I take is acyclavir .
