Who can tell me what is bad and good between getting a hound dog?
hi I would like to know what are some good and bad things about a hound dog because I want to get a hound dog and tell me what other dog might be good to I like long ears dogs that are meduim sizw give me a link if you can please thank you
Hound dogs are loyal and loving. Just like any other puppy, though training it isn’t going to be fun, and I believe those dogs have lots of energy and need to be walked often.
The good…hounds are sweet, kind…and good with children…
The bad…they will follow a scent until they are totally lost, requiring them to be on a long lead or fenced at all times. They can also be stubborn to train…(they are bred to follow a scent and not give up, so stubborn isn’t the right word, really…tenatious is more accuarate…but that tenacity shows when you’re trying to train).
