Heya all, I am planin on runnin away from home...with my mate. I got knowlage bout Survial and go to Army cadets so know a lot bout hidin and survivin on what is around. I got a bag packed already and got half a plan. I wanna go as far as possible on the first night and then RV with my mate, during the night. Then we run together, I find a good place for a LUP and recce it, then we take it turns on stag, I wanna survive till I am 18 (4yrs) and I belive I can, when that time is over I am joinin the army. I got several main worries. 1) Does the british army let in Runaways? 2) what do I do bout keepin clean ect 3) all my mate wants to do is smoke and get drunk, this will compromise us and she is not as serious bout this as me, and will think I am very para. 4) there are a lot of things that I still need like a decent knife, but I can't get that unless I steal it...
please give me tips and do not tell me not to do it cause I am very serious bout this.
First of all your undersage, meaning that your mom or dad can report you and you will be found ofcourse, and be placed in a list where all runaways are. And like the advice above me said, you will be wasting police time, because your running away whit what is you so called loved one. Siriusly police have bigger things to solve. Second, your mate cares about drinking and doing drugs and what not. So why are you running away with your mate? So he can get you into that too, and in less that 4 months your addicted to it too? You can go ahead and run away, sure go ahead, but if you learned so much on how to " survive" Then meaby meaby you should tell them that you are running away with your mate, and ask tham if they have any ideas for you to survuve like that. You mate does not take you siriesly because he KNOWS what you guys are doing is stupid, and you guys wont make it. To live on your own, you need a house to live in, a propper job, propper food, and all the good living conditions you see your perents provide you. You do not go runaway to live in the wild.. It just does not work like that no matter what you have learned. I'm sure that those that tough you how to survive tought you incase of an emegency, not because they want you to run away with the one you think you love. But At the ed sure it comes to your choice, runaway if you would like. Im guessing if you are so sirius you have...

there will be a missin people rep, I am in the country, (rural) and dont need to worry bout food or water cause I know how to get all that. I am neva gonna try drugs. I know not to take anything of value, def not my phone cause it will be traced. All I wanna do is survie 4yrs without being caught and then I will join the army, I can't join now cause I need parents permisson and they ain't happy with the army so that is a big no. I am confident that I won't be found, I got all my ACF stuff so I will be able to use cam cream and where my uniform to blend in, but I will have to wash off the cam cream if I go into a public place or I will get weird looks.
churches feed you are you leaving state? it is harder to be a minor out of state - will there be a missing person/ run away reoprt? big city or country? it is easier to be homelss in the city easier to survive, more free food and clothes ect.. down side you will be robbed don't bother to talke anything nice they will steal it anything of value you need to keep on you at all times showers - shelters or rec centers but at rec centers you have to pay a nominal fee $3-5. don't do drugs - they are addictive and you will probably like them many street people are addicted. that is what I know I was on the streets for 7 years.
you need a fake I.D. that says your over the age of 16 then you can get a job = money you might have to dye your hair so people wont reconize you there are soup kitchens that will provide you with free food there are homless shelters where you can sleep but they can be brutal depending on where you are it's almost summer so most camp grounds, public beaches, parks have public showers (sandals are a must for those) in my own personal opinion I wouldn't run away to the army, especially in this time of war, run away=yes suicide=no
first, I want you to ask yourself, what are you running away FROM? and is it that much of a reason to be running from. we cant always run away from our problems, we have to face them, because it will only make us stronger in the end. It may be a lot to deal with (whatever it may be) but I promise it will be more worth it than running away and living in a terrible situation (mentally, and physically). Think this through, please.
LMAO runaway=yes suicide-no!! HAHAHAHA! The reson I wanna join the army is cause I wanna serve my country in the war. Thx for all the tips people. This is just for emergency, if possible I wanna finish school first but if things get worse than they already are I am runnin. I like to keep things planed.
I know that it might seem like a good idea now, but it's not. Don't you want to do something great with your life? Or would you rather throw it away at fourteen? Obviously you girlfriend is not serious about this, so I would reconsider the entire idea.
dont even bother, you will be wasting serious police time, when it could be spent on a more serious matter... like trying to find LOST/ STOLEN children not runaways.
