ohhh gosh!! it sounds like Pinworms to me!! it’s usually caused through bad hygiene and the cross touching of bacteria from mouth to anus… is she sexually active? because that can be a reason too, if so her partner should get checked ASAP as well!! it’s not exactly an sti however, but it’s easily treatable, most young children get it from as i’ve mentioned poor hygiene! always wash your hands after you go to the washroom and eat!! i’ve learned that raw carrots help expel the worms as well by the way, so have her snack on them while she’s on prescribed medications!

i also forgot!! make sure the doctor checks her vagina as well, because vaginal Pinworms can happen as well since the anus is close to it! it’s especially possible if your sister is one who doesn’t wipe from front to back!
