What does a white bump around the hole of my industrial peircing mean?

Where is this piercing? In any event if it is hot, red and sore- those are signs of an infection, time to see a doc.

Sounds like a keloid. A great way to help shrink those is to crush up an asprin, add water to make it into a paste. Apply. Let sit for an hour and rinse. Do this 2-3 times a day. It should help. I had the same thing on my industrial.

No problem. Some other things that can help are salt water mixes, it helps clean it and dry any infectoin up if there is any. Industrials take forever to heal. My best friend had hers for 2 years before the keloid was completely gone and her ear was no longer sore. I have had mine for a year and it still gets sore from time to time, but there isn’t a keloid any more.

Yeah, 99% sure its a keloid, especially if it doesn’t hurt. Keloids are just rejected scar tissue. If it gets too bad or increases in size you will have to go to the doctors, and they will usually give you a steroid shot in it. Just keep a look out for any growing in size. If it stays the same, it should be able to shrink.

Pus? Could be that it’s just healing, that’s part of it.

It hasen’t pussed at all. the bump used to be big and I read that to make it go down tea tree oil works so ive been using that and the bump got smaller but there is a small bump that is white around the bar.
