Where's the best place to get gauges?

I know you can get gauges at Hot Topic, but are there any other places?

I’m assuming you mean plugs for your gauged ear lobes.

It really depends on the kind of material you like to wear; most stores will only sell surgical steel, acrylic, or glass. But you can pretty much find them in piercing salons. I’ve also seen them in Spencer’s in the mall along with Hot Topic. The only problem is that they don’t usually sell bigger gauges of plugs.

I have a bigger size, 5/8 right now. I buy my plugs offline from a specialty site the deals exclusively in piercing jewelry. It’s called bodyartforms(dot)com. They have all kinds of sizes, styles, and materials to choose from. I’ve never had any problems with them and their merchandise is always reasonably priced and gets to my door within 2-3 business days from when I ordered. You can also send them specific instructions.
