Ok, So I want to have a change of hair colour and I want to try blonde for the summer. At the moment my hair colour is brown/reddy/ginger with natural highlights of blonde and orban. but I can't decide what would look best on me. I'm thinking about going a nice like dirty blonde because of the dark brown in my hair, and I think it will look abit strange if I dye my hair all blonde. I like the yellowy colour blonde aswell. I'd take the risk and do any but I'm not sure what would look best on me. I have green eyes and a fair skin tone but lately going a tanned colour. Please help! thanks :P
Hi! =) I actually don't believe a semi-permanant blonde exists. To make hair darker, you add pigment, aka, the process called coloring (permanant or semi-permanant). To make hair lighter you remove pigment, a process called bleaching. If I'm wrong, and there is such a thing as a semi-permanant blonde, I would check at a beauty supply house,like Sally's. If your not sure about the shade of blonde you want, try holding up a wig, extension, or even doll's hair next to your face to see if it compliments your skin tone. Hmm its been dyed before but a couple of weeks back with a non-perminant wash in wash out colour. Hmm im trying to avoid not choosing bleech because I like my natural hair colour just want to try to change it about ha. But thank you soo much Ashiee and jadeglitter :) x
There is no such thing as semi or wash out blonde, unless you had like white hair and wanted it darker blonde. The only was to lighten hair is to bleach it, which is permanent. I am a hairdresser.
brown hair especially if already dyed WILL NOT go blonde. unless perminantly BLEACHED. not perminantly dyed.. perminantly bleached. :)
