Getting Blonde Hair Blonder

Ok so I’ve got dark blonde hair. It’s the weirdest colour, it’s like it can’t make up it’s mind whether it’s going to be brown or blonde so I have quite dark roots and underneaths but quite blonde tips and some of my middle and roots are quite blonde too. I’ve tried the whole lemon juice in the sunshine twice but it didn’t seem to work. Prehaps I didn’t use enough lemon juice? The lemon was a pretty old one but it seemed to have a lot of juice but did that stop it from working properly (it’s age)? Also will non-permanant or permanant blonde dyes make my hair lighter blonde without me bleaching or damaging my hair? as it’s in very good condition according to my hair dresser and I really don’t want to damage it. I have also been contemplating dying my hair brunnette non-permanantly just to see whether it looks better but will my hair return to it’s original colour and shade or will it be darker or left slightly brown? Thanks in advance (sorry about any spelling mistakes it’s really not my forte) x

Answer #1

Avoid sun-in and all that lemon juice in the sun stuff. It’s bad for hair condition. What about some nice highlights? They would look natural and lift your hair.

Answer #2

sit out in the sun with lemon juice in your hair. And apply it every time your hairs feels like it is drying. you can also use sunin

Answer #3

Dye or hair blonde or Bleach it. A simpler idea is to do what bigchickens said.

Answer #4

Go for blonde hairlights perfect to give your hair a healthy new glow and perfect for the summer and that beach look!! GO BLONDER!!

Answer #5

I am a natural blonde. I mix lemon juice and water in an empty hair spray botttle. I then go outside and get some sun. The sun + lemon juice makes my hair lighter. I put water in because lemon juice makes your hair dry. So make sure to condition a lot. hope this helps
